(Occult means hidden or secret).
1. GOD DON'T LIKE FORTUNE TELLERS
"Within two days you're gonna receive a new car."
· In Deuteronomy 18:9-10 God warns the children of
Israel not to imitate the detestable things of the nations they would
dispossess.
· Divination is in the list of detestable things.
· According to Webster Divination is the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell
future events or discover hidden knowledge usually by the interpretation of
omens or by the aid of supernatural powers.
2. THE ULTIMATE PROPHET HAS COME
- Deuteronomy 18:15 Moses speaks of the ULTIMATE prophet that was to come. We see this by the use of the singular pronoun “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet…..”
Acts 3:18-24 explains that God used all the prophets to simply
announce the coming and suffering of Christ that He is the ultimate prophet
that Moses spoke of.

NOT SPEAKING THROUGH THE PROPHETS THESE DAYS
- Hebrews 1:1 tells us that long ago God spoke through the prophets in many ways, but in these last days He is speaking to us through His Son.
5. WE DON’T NEED THEM
In Mathew 28:18 “ And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven
and on earth.”
