God's Political Manifesto

I'm sick of the racist innuendos of some republicans such as "the democrats definitely dance better than us." We get it. Some republicans think that the democratic party is nothing more than a H.U.D. sponsored black Chicagoan cartel. Please excuse my narcissistic outburst. As Pastor Zane would say "I got into self." (Pastor Zane "InZane for Jesus") Let me now get out of self and share with you the Bible's perspective regarding politics. Isn't that what we are called to do as Christians?

Be Subject to Government

Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Romans 13:1, 2, 6, 7 (NASB)

We must understand that all authority that exist is established by God. Secondly, we must KNOW that the hope of our future is not in man. Consequently, it makes no difference if you are for the donkey or the elephant. God is in control. We have an eternal hope that God, who has begun a good work in us will see it to completion (Philippians 1:6). We have an eternal hope that HE will never leave us, nor forsake us (Mathew 28:20). WE HAVE AN ETERNAL HOPE that all things will work for our good (Romans 8:28).
So my brothers and sisters, if you have the time to spread a message, don't campaign for the DNC or the RNC, rather use your time to share the message of JC.

We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work. John 9:4
