The True King

"IN THE YEAR KING UZZIAH DIED I SAW THE LORD HIGH AND LIFTED UP." Isaiah 6:1

King Uzziah had it going on. During his 52 year reign Judah developed into a strong commercial and military state. It wasn’t unusual for Isaiah to have direct and personal contact with the king (Isa 7:3, 4) Isaiah looked up to the King. Did God have to remove the king before Isaiah could see THE KING?

A few years ago my wife was climbing the corporate ladder at a well-known bank. She loved her job. Suddenly, without warning, she lost her job and was devastated. The very next day she came to work at our business full-time and by the grace of God we made it through. We vowed moving forward to be thankful for any employment we attained, but to keep our trust in God.

Is your future dependent on a job or a person? You must KNOW and declare that all of your success is because of HIM and not one of them little kings (i.e employer, rich uncle or resourceful friend).

Maybe you are suffering from an acute case of spiritual amnesia? Do you not remember that it was God who brought you through your last episode? Did you even know them little kings back then?

So, to all those who believe they possess the power to repossess your success we say “playa please.”

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalms 75:6, 7
