NORTHSIDE REDEMPTION INITIATIVE
When we met Takiela Kennedy two years ago she was living with her five small children at Victoria Gardens Apartments, known as Northside. - "The 5th worst crime rate in the nation."
Takiela was an unemployed single mother without vocational training or adequate transportation and wanted to make a better life for her children.
She didn't want a hand out, just a hand up.
Thanks to your support, Takiela is now a proud graduate of the Butterfly Foundation Culinary Training Program, working full-time, owns a vehicle and was able to move her family into their first house. She has re-dedicated her life to the Lord and was baptized with her 11 year old daughter. And, she's not alone. Your support has made it possible for 4 out of 5 families to find jobs and move out of public housing.
Imagine what we can do together if we open a community outreach center right in the heart of Northside. Please make a donation so that we can open a center within short walking distance of Victoria Gardens and Oakview Apartments. With your support we will open the new outreach center at
348 Preston Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303 DONATE NOW.
Your donation will help us reach the Northside community- One Family At A Time- by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and ensuring that residents have immediate access to job readiness training, G.E.D classes, and home-work assistance for school-aged children. Make your tax-deductible DONATION HERE
Thank you for your attention.
